On March 22 the day before Easter was baptised by her dad, Jason , my dad , Greg and Jason's dad, Dennis also helped out. Jason doesn't like to speak in public so I guess you could say that our dads did the talking and Jason did the dunking.

We are so proud of her and she was so excited. She was leaping in the church's parking lot after we arrived. After you are baptised our church has you sign your name on the hallway walls. She signed her name and then added art work to it.

Jason and Karissa went to a father/daughter dance at Trinity Christian Academy (her old school). They both had a great time. Jason said that it reminded him of a middle school dance where all the men were lined up against the wall (holding sweaters and shoes) and the girls were dancing in the middle and when a slow song came on the girls would grab their dads.
They danced to "Butterfly Kisses" and "Cinderella". Jason said he was a little disappointed that they play didn't Karissa and his song, "I Loved her First" by Heartland.
Brooke and I got Gillian and Karissa ready and it felt like we were getting them ready for prom. If only it would be that easy when they are in high school and they could go to prom with their dads!

Katie loves her ballet class. She had her first recital on December 1st and I was a little worried that she would freeze up on stage. My fears went away when she stepped on the stage. I found out quickly that she is our little preformer.
After a 3 week break we went back to her ballet class and she came out of her class and said, "You took me to the wrong ballet- I want the one with the stage!" She keeps us on our toes and we never know what is going to come out of her mouth!

Karissa had a basketball game on Saturday. Her team, the Lady Condors, won. This is her first year to play on an all girls team and she loves it. Before Upward she played with Southland Christian Church's program for 3 years.
She looks cute on the court now we just have to work on her getting aggressive with the ball!
