fishing again

On May 20th school was out for election so Jason and Dennis took the girls fishing in their boat. They we're so excited! This was Katie's first time fishing and riding in a boat. Karissa has been fishing with her dad since she was 2. This is Karissa's and Jason's favorite pasttime. They left at 11:00 and got back at 8:00. Karissa didn't want to leave, Katie ate the entire time. They said that she laid across the middle with her head on the side looking up in the sky and eating. She ate all of her lunch and most of papaw's lunch!

We had a joint birthday party for the girls on May 17th at Bounce U. Our friends own it and it's a great place to party!! They did everything for you even down to writing the gift list down. I was able to enjoy the party for the first time without running around and making sure everything was in order. They had a blast- the big slide was a hit with my girls. Jason's dad, Dennis and my dad, Greg got in the ring and boxed with gloves that were the size of Katie. Everyone had a blast.

I had always said that my girls would have seperate birthday parties, but 13 days apart is too close. They didn't seem to mind and it was stress free.

Katie turned 4 on May 20th. She was so excited about being 4.
She will start preschool in the fall and she can't wait!

Well we are the parents of a 10 year old. It is so hard to believe that she is 10! Every year is a new experience. By the time Katie is 10 we will be pros. Poor Karissa, she has to be our guinea pig.

She had a great birthday and she wanted me to fix tacos for her birthday dinner! Her grandparents came over too.
We love you Karissa!

Karissa's field trip

I went to Fort Harrod on a field trip with Karissa's class. They had a blast. Their favorite part of the trip was climbing on the tree which Karissa didn't go up to far because she is terrified of heights.
