Easter March 31, 2013

We are so proud of Katie!!  She's been asking about being baptized and wanted to be baptized at Easter.  Her reasons for that day was first because of Jesus's resurrection and then because Karissa was baptized on Easter 2008.

That day was a chilly day but she wanted to be baptized in the pond and we couldn't talk her out of it.
The water was a warm 42 degrees!! You can see the "pain" of the cold water hitting her skin just by looking at her face.  Jason baptized her and she wanted her two grandfathers in the pond with her. 

Karissa was so excited for her and it was a sweet sister moment!
