Deviled Eggs

This may not be a big deal but this is the first time I've made deviled eggs. My dad and stepmom are coming here for Easter and I'm going to help make Easter dinner with Jeanne. Mary and Dennis are still in Jamaica so it's up to us-scary.

Last year I made beet eggs which is me and my dad's favorite and the only jar I had was a jar that my mom gave me for Christmas filled with spearmint lifesavers, but I washed it out and aired it out and it was good to go....or so I thought. My dad came and he was so excited about them and he ate a couple but didn't say anything then I went to eat one and it tasted minty. I asked him about it and he said it did taste like medicine but he wasn't going to complain. So now the joke is that I can make beet eggs that are yummy and you can have fresh breath after eating them. So now I'm paranoid about tempting new things.

I had a friend come over and go over my menu with me and give me recipes, but she couldn't give the measurements of the devil eggs, she said you just know. So she called her mom and she said the same thing. I also called Mary and got the same response.

So I made them and Jason was my guinea pig, he has had several and says they are pretty good. He's also told me that when he gets home from work (at 4 in the morning!)there will be no one to stop him from eating them! That is a good sign that I made them right!!
